La Relève invites families with school-aged children in Haut-Saint-François to participate FREE OF CHARGE in a Speed Cuddles activity with Toutous poilus. Children will be able to brush, pet, and handle dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, mini horses, chickens, and other small pets. The activity will be divided into 30-minute time slots.
There will also be a board game and coloring area for families who wish to stay on site (before or after their time slot).

To give everyone an equal opportunity (regardless of your work schedule),
registration will take place in two separate blocks.
Available spots are divided equally between these two periods.

🏊 Outing to the pool
📍Where: John H. Price Center (Bishop's University, 2600 College Street, Lennoxville)

⚠️Please note: Paid parking ($2/hour). Swim caps are not mandatory. A few life jackets are available on site (you can bring your own).

⚔️ Katag (Foam sword fighting)
📍Where: Johnville Community Center (62 Jordan Hill Road, Cookshire-Eaton)
🕐Time: Block A (12:30pm to 1:30pm) OR Block B (1:30pm to 2:30pm)
😁Capacity: 25 places per block
✨Description: A large-scale game of “TAG,” invented and developed in Quebec, where two teams compete using foam swords. To score a point, players must knock out all players on the opposing team by touching them with their foam sword. In addition to this basic system, characters, variations, and scenarios are added to make the games more exciting.
🔫 Lasertag Adventure
📍Where: Johnville Community Center (62 Jordan Hill Road, Cookshire-Eaton)
🕐Time: Block A (2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.) OR Block B (3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
😁Capacity: 25 places per block
✨Description: An intense activity without projectiles! Enjoy an intense activity similar to paintball and airsoft, but with laser taggers. Safe, suitable, effective, and above all, no projectiles!
TUESDAY, MARCH 3
🧘 Parent-child yoga
📍Where: Victoria Hall (125 Main Street W., Cookshire-Eaton) – Entrance through the side door.
🕐Time: 9:30am to 10:30am
😁Capacity: 12 dyads (parent-child)
✨Description: Course taught by Maude Nicolau, certified teacher
⚠️Please note: Bring your yoga mats if you have them. A few mats are available upon reservation.
🎨 Creative afternoon
📍Where: Community café (75 Angus North Street, East Angus)
🕐Time: 1pm to 3 pm
✨Description: Art workshop led by artist Sylvie Cadorette. A group exhibition at the community café. If you wish, your canvas artwork will be displayed at the café for a month before being returned to you!

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4
🎳 Bowling outing
📍Where: Sher-Mont Showroom (1245 King Street East, Sherbrooke)

🏃 Module Parkour
📍Where: Bury Military Riding School (563 Main Street)
🕐Time: Two time slots: Slot A (1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., reserved for children aged 7 to 11 and their parents) OR Slot B (2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., reserved for children aged 12 and over and their parents)
✨Description: 10 minutes: discussion and presentation of Parkour and warm-up, and 45 minutes: Rotation between different workshops (How to fall and roll / jump and cushion, obstacle passing / sequences and combinations, and how to climb up and down a wall / hang on and climb)
VENDREDI 6 MARS
